Participation of "Amonatbonk" officials on the "Asia-Plus" radio program on the "World Consumer Rights Day"
Every year on March 15, World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated around the world.
The Republic of Tajikistan, as a full member of the United Nations and the Commonwealth of Independent States, also celebrates this date by holding a series of events aimed at protecting consumer rights.
In connection with this, "Amonatbonk" officials participated on the Asia-Plus radio program "Imkon bo Subhon" to explain the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Protection of Consumer Rights" and in this regard the instructions of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
It was noted that the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Protection of Consumer Rights" and other regulatory legal acts are in force in the Republic of Tajikistan, that regulate relations between consumers and producers, performers and contractual relationship, and establish the right of consumers to purchase goods or services of appropriate quality, state and public protection of their interests, and determines the manner of exercising these rights.
Bank officials noted that in order to create favorable conditions for protecting the rights of consumers of banking services, improving the level of transparency of the activities of financial credit institutions and financial intermediation, as well as strengthen consumer confidence in the activities of the banking system, regulatory and legal acts have been developed, establishing minimum requirements for the publication of information on the activities of financial credit institutions.
In the continuation a question-and-answer session was held with the radio listeners and the Bank's officials. During this session it was noted that if there are any questions or complaints regarding the level and quality of banking services, citizens can call at 1885 (Bank’s Call Centre), via the chatbot on the Bank's official website, and via the Telegram and WhatsApp messengers at (900 00 48 26).
